Liked the old time feel and decorations.
The historical feel.
No pretense of being other than a B&B in a very old building. I was surprised with having a bedroom and a parlor.

Convenience to shops and restaurants
The location makes it an ideal place to stay for a few days for walking, shopping and dining out. I also appreciated that, arriving by train on an early morning AMTRAK, I could walk to the hotel and was allowed to check in to my room at 8 a.m.

Very clean, nice staff, good breakfast
Nice room. Unknown to us however, it is off a main road and the truck noise was annoying during the night. Nicely appointed room, except for the low toilet.

The first room had a bug crawling on the bed covers when I pulled back the covers. The second room had a big stain on the bottom sheet. Was unable to get a refund and was still charged $25 pet fee as well as room fee in which we never stayed in!

Rooms were clean and hotel was updated.
The breakfast area was bright, great choice of food and the staff person in charge of the kitchen/dinning area was the hardest worker I have ever seen in a hotel. She kept food items replenished, tables clean, and was very pleasant. She deserves a raise!

There was NO toilet paper in the bathroom and when I went to guess services he informed me that there was none in the entire hotel, including staff restrooms. Then the toilet would not flush after the first flush. I had to open the tank lid to activate it
The location was convenient but even the good location didn¿t make it worth staying there.
The staff was very helpful and it was in a good location.
