The inkeeper was very hospitable, friendly, and helpful!
Excellent, well-decorated, exceptionally clean rooms. Nothing like a typical motel. The gentleman that owns/runs the hotel was friendly and accommodating, shows people to their rooms personally, and explains how everything works.

It's not an Hotel, it's a cabin... Very small, but it did the job. Or it's a huuuge tent ! and strong, made of wood. I am NOT the camping guy and i loved it ! restroom, shower are a charm. Would do it again ! restaurant close a bit soon..
This location is centrally located on Escalante Main Street, has an onsite eatery, equipment shop. It is truly a one-stop facility. We loved it! Staff was fantastic!
The floor plan was nice and the cabin was roomy. The sofa bed was a nice design.

My wife and I booked the garden room for one night ended up staying for 3. The fresh breakfast was beyond great, they make everything from the bread to jams from scratch. The room was very comfortable to stay in with plenty of room and our own bathroom.

Central location to parks and sights of interest
The room was very clean and cozy. Layout and furniture is not like a normal hotel room. Check-in was no hassle. Plus, the Ponderosa Inn is in an excellent location. Will definitely stay there again when I visit that area again.
Laid back, well appointed but small room, quiet but convenient location.
