This was conveniently located to the HUGE outlets next door. One of my best dining experiences in a long time was at Loru?s Cafe in the outlets! I?ve eaten at many fancy, etc places around the world but LOVED the outstanding service, menu, etc.

Great customer service! It included free breakfast, internet, and free parking, also a small kitchen with a full refrigerator. The room was spacious and clean. It had more spaces to put our things.

It's an older motel and it shows. It's hard to walk around your room without the floorboards creaking on the second floor. It's staff, however, are very friendly and eager to please. It' a good place for a short stay and not spend a lot of money.

Room had cockroaches. Room was dusty and the floors needed to be mopped, sink was dirty. Bed was so hard, it was like sleeping on the floor.I used the laundry and the dryer didn't heat, so I was left with a load of wet clothes.

The room was spacious, the breakfast was solid, and the pool and hot tub area as well as the bikes to borrow were all nice additions for a weekend in Ojai. The free beer/wine tasting coupon was a nice perk.
The staff were very sweet, but one of the receptionist were rude to the people in front of us when we were waiting to check in so I was expecting him to be rude to us too. He wasn't, he was nice.

By the ocean location
The location on the very brink of the ocean was special for Southern California. And having the long, empty beach all to ourselves was amazing!
